About the role:
Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports, dashboards, and analyses to support IT leadership decision-making.
Compile, analyze, and maintain financial and operational data related to Information Services budgets, projects, and departmental spend.
Maintain reporting files, templates, and data tracking methods to support accurate, timely financial reporting.
Develop and refresh reports using Excel and other finance systems to monitor budgets, forecasts, and actual results.
Perform trend and variance analysis to identify drivers of financial results, risks, and opportunities.
Work with the IT Finance Analyst to support reporting enhancements, process improvements, and automation efforts that improve finance team efficiency and data quality.
Recommend practical improvements to reporting processes, data management practices, and standard work.
Help monitor report effectiveness and consolidate reporting needs to improve consistency, usability, and efficiency.
Partner with IT Finance Analyst, report users and business leaders to explain financial results, answer questions, and support informed decision-making.
Respond to special analysis requests by gathering data, assessing reporting needs, and delivering clear, actionable insights.
Coordinate with Information Services Cost Center Managers and finance partners to support a consistent, timely monthly close process.
Assist with annual budget preparation, forecast updates, and ongoing expense tracking for IT departments and initiatives.
Build knowledge of finance tools, reporting systems, and analytical techniques to continuously improve the quality of work and insights.
Perform other financial, analytical, and project support responsibilities as assigned.
About you:
Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
Years of Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience, including internships or co-op experience
English Level: C1 (Advanced)
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis; familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems preferred
Strong financial, analytical, and computer skills with the ability to work accurately with large data sets
Foundational knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a process-oriented mindset and adherence to standards
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Clear oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance partners
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
