Job Title: IT Engineer Systems & Network

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Engineer with hands-on experience in systems administration and network management The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing our IT infrastructure to ensure seamless business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and networking equipment.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and file servers.
Implement and maintain IT security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery operations, and software updates/patching.
Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
Document IT infrastructure, processes, and standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for system upgrades, procurement, and IT projects.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience as a System/Network Engineer, IT Support Engineer, or similar role
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), routers, switches, and firewalls
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy Management, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills to support users and coordinate with internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or MCSA
Experience in IT project management and implementing ITIL best practices.
