JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for an eCommerce Solutions Architect to be part of the Information Technology Department, who will be responsible for leading the application architecture design activities for commerce platforms of the Prada Group brands.
S/he will support eCommerce programs and initiatives at WW level and the associated technical capabilities developed on commerce platforms. The individual will work closely with business and technology leads including project managers, user experience leads as well as external agencies and partners.
As a member working in a team environment, he will work with platform architects and developers on interpretation/translation of business requirements into target architecture, and subsequently into technical design.
Qualified candidates must have strong eCommerce background with hands-on experience in defining digital tech strategy and planning, supporting and implementing transactional websites built on leading eCommerce platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant field
5+ years of technology experience in eCommerce/Digital organizations or Consultancy firms, leading, developing, and designing digital experience applications, including eCommerce websites, order management systems, content management capabilities, web and mobile touch points.
Hands on expertise in modern web technologies and architectural patterns.
Experience in designing and implementing with one or more major eCommerce platforms (e.g. Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, Shopify, VTEX, Commercetools)
Knowledge of order management processes and systems as well as experience in omnichannel integration scenarios (experience with Fluent Commerce is a plus).
Knowledge of content management systems and other digital marketing technologies such as campaign management, DMP, CDP, social media, search, web analytics and personalization (expertise with Adobe Experience Cloud or headless CMS is a plus)
Knowledge of monitoring and log analytics platform (e.g. Splunk) is a plus.
Proven experience in rolling out global application platforms.
Experience in agile delivery model (SAFe is as plus) and hands-on expertise with modern DevOps practices and tools – including but not limited to – GIT, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence etc.
Innovative thinking and the ability to leverage past technology experience to be successful in an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment.
Strong IT analysis and analytical skills.
