This position will be hybrid and serving the Wake Forest Baptist Market (North Carolina), Navicent Market (Georgia), and Floyd Market (Georgia/Alabama). Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm is the general schedule for this salaried position. Travel will be required periodically to the various supported sites.

Pay Range:

$54.90 - $82.35

Major Responsibilities

• Ensures technology programs, initiatives and operational issues are aligned with local business, clinical and operational priorities while maintaining enterprise standards, timelines and governance
• Acts as a single point of accountability between Enterprise Technology and multiple assigned facilities or divisions. Builds and maintains trusted relationship with facility leadership, clinical leaders, operations and administrative stakeholders.
• Coordinates delivery of enterprise and divisional IT programs at the facility level, ensuring alignment with approved scope, schedule and budget. Partners with IT program Managers, Project Managers, Architecture, Applications, Infrastructure and Field Services teams to drive execution.
• Oversee high-impact incidents and issues that exceed SLA thresholds, ensuring timely communication and resolution. Coordinates vendor engagement for incident resolution, services reviews and SLA management.
• Provides clear, concise status updates to facility leadership and senior IT leaders on program progress, risks, impacts. Ensure facility concerns, constraints, priorities are surfaced early and address appropriately before impacting clinical operations.
• Support annual facility technology planning, prioritization, and budgeting activities. Review vendor contracts and statements of work in partnership with IT leadership and legal/procurement are required.
• Engages extensively with site specific senior clinical and IT leaders, key senior business leaders, and the program/project steering committee to provide timely reports on progress and attainment of business objectives, together with an analysis of potential issues and risks and corrective actions required to ensure projects achieve intended goals.
• Ensure projects have an appropriately defined set of business requirements and that they stay within agreed tolerances with respect to scope and raise an alert to senior management as soon as these tolerances are exceeded so that corrective action can be taken.
• Tracks projects post implementation and survey key stakeholders to ensure that the expected benefits are achieved and reported. Performs project post implementation analysis to establish lessons learned and ensure that these are incorporated in the overall project management approach.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge in Information Technology or related field

Work Experience

Typically requires 7 years in project management, with at least five of these being responsible for large complex projects (above $1M) with a proven record of successful project delivery using expertise in the use of modern project management methodologies.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Strong analytical thinker able to break down projects into appropriate sub-components.

Self-starter comfortable taking the initiative and making decisions on the best available information.

Meticulous with ability to manage project complexity and detail. Ability to identify key elements and define detailed project work-break-down structures to incorporate them into project plans.

Delivery focused and tenacious with ability to work through the challenges associated with large complex projects to focus on the key project objectives.

Expertise in industry standard program management methodologies and tools.

Ability to lead diverse technical resources that possess expertise in different domains.

Collaborative with ability to form high performing teams from diverse players.

Strong influencing and persuasion skills with ability to influence peers, superiors, and subordinates.

Effective communication skills and tools with demonstrated ability to concisely communicate with senior leaders. Key to establishing goals, milestones, priorities, ensuring team members understand work assignments and in communicating project status, risks, and issues to senior management.
