About the Opportunity
Digital Solutions is Griffith University's strategic digital partner, delivering innovative digital experiences for students, staff, researchers, partners and the wider community. Through the modernisation of technologies, platforms, services and ways of working, the portfolio is helping drive institutional performance and enable the University's digital future.
The Director, Learning and Teaching provides strategic leadership and accountability for the Learning and Teaching digital portfolio, overseeing strategy, service quality, performance, delivery capability and stakeholder partnerships. The role serves as the key senior interface between Digital Solutions and academic and professional stakeholders, ensuring priorities, risks, decisions and delivery commitments are aligned and effectively managed.
As a senior leader within Digital Solutions, the Director is responsible for driving high performance, strengthening leadership capability and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, clear accountability, evidence-based decision-making and a focus on delivering value, service excellence and operational resilience across the University.

What we can offer
This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months. However, for exceptional candidates, there may be an opportunity to extend the appointment beyond the initial term. This position is primarily based at Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan). As Griffith is a multi-site university, you may be required to work across other locations.
Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
