We are seeking a motivated IT Developer (.NET) Intern / Working Student to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience developing and supporting business applications while working alongside experienced IT and business professionals. The successful candidate will contribute to real-world projects supporting manufacturing operations, business processes, and digital transformation initiatives.

This job is based in Mikulov, Czech Republic We provide a flexible working schedule designed around university studies, with approximately 20 hours per week and flexibility regarding working days and hours. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience inproject manufacturing, functional IT, and enterprise IT systems supporting production environments.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

  • Support the development, testing, and maintenance of applications using Microsoft .NET and C# technologies.

  • Assist with implementing new features and enhancements for business applications supporting manufacturing and operational processes.

  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and business users to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.

  • Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application issues under the guidance of experienced team members.

  • Support the development and maintenance of integrations between business applications, databases, and other enterprise systems.

  • Participate in software testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

  • Use Azure DevOps to support development activities, including work item management, source control, and deployment processes.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, process documentation, and application support materials.

  • Learn and apply software development best practices, coding standards, and Agile methodologies.

  • Assist with process improvement and automation initiatives supporting manufacturing and business operations.

  • Gain exposure to enterprise IT systems and business applications used across a global manufacturing organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Basic knowledge of C# and .NET development

  • Active student status with availability to work approximately 20 hours per week

  • Strong interest in software development, enterprise applications, and manufacturing-related business processes.

  • Basic understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, or other source control and development lifecycle tools.

  • Experience gained through coursework, university projects, personal projects, or internships involving C# and .NET technologies.

  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

  • Interest in manufacturing systems, business applications, and digital transformation initiatives.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies and business processes.
