We are currently seeking an IT Developer/ Programmer for Calculation Tools (m/f/d) to join our “Innoplant” department at our Bad Kreuznach site.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Transforming complex commercial and technical calculations into automated Excel and web tools – utilizing AI for analysis and prototyping, with a strong focus on review, testing, and validation
• Clarifying requirements with specialist departments and translating them into sustainable concepts; documenting calculation logic in a versioned, traceable, and auditable manner
• Further developing Excel-based solutions (Power Query/Pivot; VBA optional/legacy) and establishing scalable web/service alternatives (e.g., TypeScript/JavaScript, APIs)
• Ensuring stable operation and continuous improvement of tools; managing integration into platforms/configurators, maintaining standards/norms, and providing clear enablement and support formats

Ihr Profil

• A college degree (e.g., in Business Informatics) or vocational training in IT – application development, along with relevant professional experience; a strong AI-first mindset and high standards for quality
• Several years of experience working with complex calculation models and/or business intelligence; proficiency in AI-supported analysis and transparent, traceable documentation
• Excellent Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and complex logic—as a tool for modeling and increasing productivity
• Modern web and automation skills (e.g., TypeScript/JavaScript) as well as an understanding of API and service architectures; AI-supported reviews, tests, and validations are standard practice for you. VBA is a plus (for legacy applications)
• Excellent English skills as well as proficiency in Office and project management tools; SAP knowledge is a plus
