Mission Overview:

This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as an IT Developer Android Consultant. You will be hired by Keystone Solutions to work on client projects, delivering expertise and value in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

As an Android Developer Consultant, you will join teams of software development specialists and work in an Agile squad. Your responsibilities, under the Keystone Solutions consultancy model, include:

• Translating requirements into high quality code
• Designing, building, and maintaining high performance, reusable, and reliable Kotlin code for the Android platform
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ship new features
• Working with outside data sources and APIs
• Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs
• Helping maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in Android development
• Sound knowledge of English and at least one local language
• Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent by experience
• Agile mindset: positive attitude, pragmatism, thirst for knowledge, focus on team success, and continuous improvement
• Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams
• Technical expertise in clean code principles, Google’s Android design principles, DDD, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Material 3 design, TDD, Android SDK, SVN/Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, Confluence, JIRA, and CI/CD
• Experience with RESTful APIs, 3rd-party libraries, and API integration
• Preferable: knowledge of Docker, Container, Groovy
• Preferable: practical experience with Scrum and working in large development teams
• Soft skills: embrace SCRUM values (Focus, Commitment, Openness, Respect, Courage), pair programming, ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, knowledge sharing, challenging requirements, and continuous learning
