Job Summary

The IT Desktop Support Specialist will provide hands-on technical support to staff and clinicians across all locations. Position will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support system upgrades, and help maintain a stable and secure IT environment critical to patient care and clinic operations.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required

Education/Certification

• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred.
• CompTIA Network+, A+ and/or Microsoft Certification(s) preferred.

Experience

• Proven experience in desktop support, help desk, or technical support role (2+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common hardware/peripherals.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience in a healthcare setting or familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is a plus.

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Provide desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral support for staff at multiple clinic locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
• Set up and configure new workstations, user accounts, and access permissions.
• Support staff in using clinical software, including ARIA (Varian), Microsoft 365, and other enterprise systems.
• Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and IT infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with the broader IT team on data cleanup, equipment rollouts, and departmental improvements.
