Job Description

About Us:

YipitData is the leading market research and analytics firm for the disruptive economy and recently raised up to $475M from The Carlyle Group at a valuation over $1B.

We analyze billions of alternative data points every day to provide accurate, detailed insights on ridesharing, e-commerce marketplaces, payments and more. Our on-demand insights team uses proprietary technology to identify, license, clean and analyze the data many of the world’s largest investment funds and corporations depend on.

For three years and counting, we have been recognized as one of Inc’s Best Workplaces. We are a fast-growing technology company backed by The Carlyle Group and Norwest Venture Partners. Our offices are located in NYC, Austin, Miami, Denver, Mountain View, Seattle, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, and Singapore. We cultivate a people-centric culture focused on mastery, ownership, and transparency.

About the Role:

This is a fully on-site role based at our New York City headquarters. Employees are expected to work from the NYC office five days per week.

We expect East Coast working hours.

As Our IT Delivery Engineer, You Will:

  • Design, implement, and maintain the systems and platforms that support the company’s internal IT environment
  • Administer and troubleshoot SaaS platforms and endpoint management systems including Kandji, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Zoom, and other core business tools
  • Manage and improve device management and endpoint configuration across the global fleet using MDM platforms
  • Partner with Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure systems meet company security and compliance standards
  • Lead and contribute to IT infrastructure and service delivery improvement projects that increase system reliability and operational efficiency
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance IT service delivery, system management, and automation
  • Develop automation and tooling to streamline provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows
  • Maintain accurate system configuration and asset data to support operational visibility and audits
  • Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, processes, and operational procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT, Security, Engineering, and Operations to improve the scalability and reliability of internal systems

You Are Likely To Succeed If

  • You have 4+ years of experience in a modern IT, systems engineering, or IT infrastructure role supporting a distributed workforce
  • You have hands-on experience administering MDM/endpoint management platforms (Kandji, Jamf, or Intune) and core SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Zoom)
  • You have led or made significant contributions to IT infrastructure or platform improvement projects — not just ticket queues
  • You look for opportunities to automate and build tooling rather than repeat manual work
  • You are comfortable owning ambiguous problems end to end in a fast-paced, global environment
  • You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and partner well across Security, Engineering, and Operations
  • You are motivated by measurable improvements to system reliability, operational efficiency, and employee experience

What We Offer:

  • Our compensation package includes competitive salary and comprehensive benefit offerings.
  • Opportunities to build a career as a manager or individual contributor through our career ladder that promotes based on impact. You will have regular career conversations with your manager where you will discuss your short and long-term career goals. We are committed to helping you develop in your career and offer the potential for internal mobility opportunities
  • We care about your personal life, and we actually mean it. We offer flexible work hours, a hybrid work environment, unlimited vacation, a generous 401K match, parental leave, team events, a wellness budget, learning reimbursement, monthly WFH budget for remote workers, and more!
  • Through our HR platform, you’ll get to choose from a variety of health plans starting at no monthly out-of-pocket premium, dental, vision, 401k match, and commuter benefits!
  • Your growth at YipitData is determined by the impact that you make, not by tenure, unnecessary facetime, or office politics. Everyone at YipitData is empowered to learn, self-improve, and master their skills in an environment focused on ownership, respect, and trust.
  • The annual base salary range for this position is anticipated to be $112,500–$125,000 per year. Final compensation may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal team benchmarks.

This is a fully on-site role based at our New York City headquarters, with an expectation to work from the office five days per week.

Please note that for this position, we are not able to consider candidates who currently or in the future will require visa sponsorship.

We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. We are proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
