Job Title: IT Data Steward – CRM & Data Management
Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid – minimum 50% on-site required)
This role focuses on managing, integrating, and governing data within a CRM ecosystem in a public sector IT environment. The Data Steward will work on cloud and hybrid architectures, ensuring high-quality, secure, and compliant data flows across CRM platforms, data virtualization layers, and ETL pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and support a secure hybrid cloud data architecture (on-premise and cloud-based systems)
Design, develop, and maintain data flows between CRM and underlying systems (e.g., Dataverse, DB2, mainframe systems)
Manage data migration into CRM platforms and ensure data integrity
Automate data-related business processes using CRM and ETL tools
Classify, anonymize, and manage sensitive data in compliance with GDPR and security standards
Create and prepare datasets for testing and validation purposes
Define and enforce data security policies, access controls, and encryption standards
Collaborate with business, IT, and security teams to align data solutions with business needs
Support incident resolution and bug analysis related to data issues
Key Technical Skills:
CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
Data virtualization tools (Denodo)
ETL tools (SAP Data Services or similar)
SQL and data transformation scripting (SQL, Python, VQL or equivalent)
Cloud architecture (Microsoft Azure)
Database management and optimization
Data quality, migration, and data preparation
Basic knowledge of data governance and MDM concepts
Data security and GDPR compliance principles
Soft Skills:
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving
Ability to work with cross-functional teams (business, IT, security)
Attention to detail and data quality mindset
Languages:
French (native level – mandatory)
Additional Requirement:
Must be willing to work on-site in Brussels at least 50% of the time (mandatory)
