Job Description

For the luxury cruise vessels of Hapag Lloyd Cruises we are looking for an IT Communication Officer (f/m) Your Tasks:Responsible for all IT related Networks and IT Systems on board, including Internet Platforms, Server, V-Sat, Hardware and supporting installationsAdministration of the entire IT – Infrastructure such as but not limited to:Mail server, Active Directory, Proxy - Server, File- und Print serverTechnical Support to other DepartmentUser-management for Systems and AppicationsMultimedia Systems (Video on Demand, IP-TV, Screen Management)Access Portal Internet for Passenger and CrewShips communication (SatComm - TV / Daten / Internet)Telephone SystemNetwork SupportBack-Up SystemYour profile:Professional qualification in the field of IT5 years of work experience, experience on board cruise ships would be a plusExcellent knowledge of German language is compulsory as well as fluent business English.Good time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlinesWillingness to provide serviceCommunicative with a safe appearanceLanguage Requirements:All shipboard employees must be able to communicate in German and in the English language in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors and co-workers
