As a Commodity Manager, you willbe responsible for

  • Developing annual andlong-termsourcing strategies and pipeline plans for the software category.

  • Achieving cost savings targets.

  • Defining supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels. Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers.

  • Negotiating terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement.

  • Manage claims. Includes commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc. This may also include purchasing activities.

  • Leading RF(x),and commercialcontractnegotiationswith software suppliers

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams including legal, finance, cyber security, and others.

  • Mitigating supplier risks through effective contracting and supplier management.

  • Communicating with business leaders and stakeholdersregardingprojectstatus, process compliance, business procedures, and policies.

  • Serving as a business partner to keyITstakeholders and cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes, ensure compliance with company requirements, and track metrics(KPIs)

  • Owning and building relationships with key suppliers and other partners as needed to advance business requirements and achieve internal customer satisfaction.

  • Providingthought leadership asthe team leaderof the software sourcing team.

  • Leading multiplesourcingprojects and sourcing-related activities in a fast-paced, multi-national environment.

  • Understanding ofglobal cybersecurity and data privacy regulations related tothe procurement ofsoftware andassociatedservices.

Required Qualifications

  • To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university orcollege.

  • Have a minimum of3 -5 years of progressive experience leading technology sourcing activities for global Software(On-Prem, SaaS, Cloud)and Services.

  • Have the ability toleverage internal and external data sources to create strategic category plans.

  • Be a skilled negotiator who can both plan and execute sourcing strategies in support ofstakeholder’sbusiness needs.

  • Haveexperience in negotiating& redliningsoftware contracts.

  • Have strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
