This position will provide basic company-wide IT support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic support related to hardware, software, mobile/desk phone, printers, and conference room equipment
  • Gain exposure to IT ticketing system
  • Maintain hardware and software inventory
  • Coordinate the repair or replacement of serviceable hardware
  • Image and configure new laptops
  • Gain hands-on experience with networking by assisting team members on-site
  • Assist with developing company databases
  • Gain experience with working inside server rooms to install networking and server equipment
  • Work alongside team members to prevent, detect, and remediate cyber threats

Quality Control Responsibilities:

  • Practice procedures outlined in the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) on a daily basis.
  • Demonstrate the ability to proof-read self-generated documentation.

Design Responsibilities:

  • Gain experience to perform basic network design with guidance from others.
  • Gain basic understanding of electrical and mechanical system design.
  • Develop basic understanding of Information Technology (IT) systems, network infrastructures, and computer system design, as it relates to control system integration.

Customer and Project Management Responsibilities:

  • Communicate in an effective, positive, and proactive manner with customers.
  • Complete assigned tasks accurately, on schedule, and under budget.
  • Understand the scope of work assigned to you, identify when issues arise that are beyond that scope, and communicate those issues to the assigned project lead.

Mentoring and Training Responsibilities:

  • Actively seek knowledge from senior staff members.
  • Maintain open and direct communication with senior staff members.
  • Independent study, outside of work, to become familiar with the technologies being used.
  • Be a self-starter, and spend the extra time and energy required to develop the skill set necessary to advance career.
  • Maintain professional relations with co-workers, offer assistance to co-workers, when possible, ask for help and guidance from co-workers when necessary, and always treat co-workers with respect.

Work Authorization/Other Requirements:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the country where the position is located is required.
  • Maintain a valid drivers license.
  • Fit for Duty at all times
