Job Description

The IT Co-op is 37.5 hour/week position that supports the work of the IT department. The IT Co-op will work with IT team members on various tasks and projects in a hybrid environment. The IT Co-op will have an opportunity to observe and participate in IT operations including software development, technical troubleshooting, IT inventory tracking, testing, and providing end-user support. The IT Co-op will require a strong technical aptitude, ability to solve problems, and will be enthusiastic about technology and assisting others. This role must work well in a team environment and have a strong willingness to learn.

Essential Functions

  • Assist the IT team with end-user technical support and projects as assigned
  • Provide hands on deskside IT hardware troubleshooting and support, including peripherals
  • Support IT Development and Business Analyst teams on tasks and projects regarding IT software development initiatives
  • Provide support with IT asset inventory data and tracking
  • Assist with MSBA application and website testing
  • Create and update technical documentation
  • Job shadowing with IT Team members
  • Other tasks as assigned
