The IT Client Services Lead is responsible for delivering reliable site IT support for the Solna office while acting as a senior technical resource for local users, regional IT colleagues, and cross-functional business stakeholders. This role uses in-depth client services and infrastructure knowledge to resolve complex issues, improve local IT service performance, and support consistent adoption of global IT standards across the site.

This is an individual contributor Professional P3 role. The role may provide informal guidance to colleagues and may lead small site or service improvement projects, but it does not carry people-management accountability.

This position reports to the IT Director, Client Services (EMEA/APAC) and is part of the IT EMEA/APAC Site Support and Applications, located in Solna, Sweden and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Partner in IT Client Services Leadership for the Solna manufacturing site and serve as a key contributor across EMEA and APAC, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable workplace technology services that support business operations, manufacturing continuity, and an exceptional end-user experience.

• Drive cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration across EMEA and APAC, coordinating global IT teams, vendors, cybersecurity, infrastructure, application owners, and manufacturing stakeholders to successfully deliver technology initiatives, standardization efforts, and service improvements.
• Lead technology lifecycle management for manufacturing and workplace environments, including endpoint strategy, asset management, refresh planning, capacity management, and business continuity preparedness to minimize operational risk and disruption
• Lead through influence, expertise, developing technical capability across the Client Services organization, promoting best practices, and serving as a trusted escalation point for complex technical and operational challenges

• Provide technical leadership across end-user computing, industrial endpoint technologies, collaboration platforms, AV systems, telecom, support cloud services, and manufacturing-adjacent technologies, ensuring high availability and rapid resolution of complex issues impacting business-critical operations.

The essential requirements of the job include

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field with 5+ years of related IT client services, site support, infrastructure, or end-user technology experience; or Master’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth practical experience supporting corporate end-user technology environments, including Windows endpoints, Microsoft productivity tools, mobile devices, printers, meeting room/audio-visual equipment, asset lifecycle, and enterprise support processes.
• Working knowledge of related infrastructure and service areas such as LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, cloud-enabled workplace services, identity/access processes, endpoint management, cybersecurity controls, telecom, and vendor/provider coordination.
• Proven ability to solve complex or recurring technical and service problems independently, using judgment based on multiple sources of information, established standards, business impact, and appropriate escalation paths.
• Strong stakeholder communication, prioritization, and service management skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical audiences, manage multiple priorities, document work effectively, and build consensus across local and regional teams.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Traveling might be required 10%.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• ITIL, Microsoft, networking, endpoint management, cloud, or cybersecurity certifications or equivalent practical training.
• Help Desk or site support coordination activities in a regulated, manufacturing, diagnostics, life sciences, healthcare, or corporate environment.
• Using service management, asset management, knowledge management, or continuous improvement practices to improve user experience and operational performance
