As IT Channel Marketing Senior Specialist you will be responsible for executing channel marketing strategies that drive growth and engagement through the IT channel partners in the pre-defined territory of Nordics, in line with the local business strategy. You will be member of the EMEA IT channel marketing community, and collaborates with the local IT Channel sales, as well as EMEA Field Product Marketing, Product Marcom and Demand Generation Marketing teams to support the development of the Eaton’s IT channel business and growth ambitions.

What you’ll do:

  • With the support of the Direct Manager and in line with the local IT sales team:
    • develop and execute marketing communication activities targeting IT partners as a part of the commercial IT Partner Program in the predefined territory, in line with the EMEA IT partner program framework.
    • cooperate closely with the local IT sales team and targeted IT partners, develop and execute annual channel marketing plans (MDF) to support sales objectives and drive IT partners engagement.
    • develop a cohesive contact data strategy to enable segmentation and targeting of contacts and work with Sales to ensure that their use of Salesforce for contacts and accounts facilitates richer customer engagement.
  • Localize and manage marketing enablement and promotional materials, including digital content.
  • With the support of the direct manager, plan and execute IT partner events, webinars, and other activities to drive partner engagement and lead generation.
  • Contribute to the push/ pull campaigns and align Tier 1 activities with Tier 2 campaigns to help generate the adequate demand for Eaton offers, and maximize sellout of the partner inventories (including promotions, incentives...)
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of To- and Through-Channel marketing activities (MDF), making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • With the support of the direct manager, manage the IT channel marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Consolidate relationships with key local IT partners, ensuring marketing alignment on goals and strategies.
  • Support the Digital transformation of the IT partners by promoting the adoption of new collaborative tools (MyEaton, PRM, e-commerce, APIs...)
  • Monitor IT Partner satisfaction regularly, and help make Eaton their partner of choice.
  • Contribute to collecting market trends and feedbacks on competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities through the channel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing/Communication/Business school.
  • Relevant (3-5 years) experience in marketing communication, preferably in B2B and channel marketing.
  • Execution of joint marketing activities with partners (campaign planning - setting up KPIs, execution of program, MDF management, reporting and analysis).
  • Understanding of marketing disciplines, knowledge of channel business processes is an advantage (channel business strategy, commercial approach, distribution models etc).
  • Experience in partner program planning and deployment (acquire, retain, develop and enable) is an advantage.
  • Experience in channel partner programs and cooperation with EWS companies is an advantage.
  • Experience working with international cross-functional teams in a dynamic, matrixed environment is an advantage
  • Customer-focused attitude, ability to learn fast and curiosity, digital and data-driven mindset.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills in English, business level language knowledge in one of the Nordic languages (Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish).
  • Able to work and travel in EMEA/EU region without any restrictions.
