Job Description

PURPOSE
The Global IT Business Systems Analyst is a versatile professional adept at both technical support and system development. They excel in analyzing and optimizing business processes within their assigned area, leveraging their strong understanding of IT systems and business needs. This role will work within on our ServiceNow ecosystem troubleshooting system issues, developing enhancements, and conducting in-depth analysis to drive continuous improvement. Their expertise contributes significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
• Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.
• Analyze and troubleshoot software issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation such as user manuals, training materials, and technical specifications.
• Work with IT professionals to create or update software solutions based on business needs.
• Develop detailed requirements and use cases for software development projects.
• Research new technologies and methods to enhance business processes.
• Oversee implementation projects from beginning to completion.
• Create and present reports to executive team members and shareholders to support recommendations.
• All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/work experience
• 5+ years systems analysis experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ServiceNow preferred, or deep experience implementing and maintaining ITSM environments
• Experience working with global teams a plus
• ServiceNow Certifications recommended
• Involvement working directly with vendors, stakeholders, and end users
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience supporting the development and deployment of workflow solutions
• Ability to travel abroad
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Off-hour meetings and work to accommodate global time zones
• Collaborative team environment in a shared workspace
• General office, computer room, warehouse, and factory areas
• Local/international travel as required
• Able to sit for extended periods of time
• Minimum lifting requirements of 15 pounds
