The position combines strong management skills and functional analysis capabilities, with particular responsibility for coordinating different teams, managing vendor interactions, and supporting decision-making related to platform evolution within the wealth management environment, with a specific focus on Institutional Management assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse legacy platforms, including wealth management applications environments, to identify scalability constraints, functional gaps, and integration opportunities with modern technology solutions.
  • Provide strategic and technical support to the IT Manager on platform-related decisions for wealth management, while monitoring performance, supporting batch optimisation, and facilitating collaboration across Business, IT, and external partners.
  • Act as IT Business Specialist for Institutional Mandates, supporting business requirements analysis, platform evolution, and coordination of technology initiatives to ensure alignment with operational and client servicing needs.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in team management, functional analysis, and coordination of complex IT initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of legacy systems (preferably including AS400), and their integration with modern architectures such as Cloud and Microservices.
  • Ability to assess vendor proposals, delivery models, timelines, and budget implications in support of strategic programmes.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate technical, operational, and Institutional Management asset-related considerations into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across Business, IT, and third-party providers.
  • Good understanding of Institutional Management assets, related processes, and technology implications, with the ability to support business change, functional analysis, and platform evolution in this domain.

Preferred Attributes

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance technical depth and business priorities.
  • Proactive and results-oriented approach to managing initiatives and resolving issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments and build strong collaborative relationships.
  • Strong ownership, organisational skills, and attention to delivery quality.
  • Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders and contributing to strategic discussions.
