About Us
With over 85 years of tangible impact, we have carved out our place as a leader in water infrastructure across Australia and New Zealand. Embrace the opportunity to be part of our dynamic team creating the future of water for generations to come. Your expertise and dedication will play a pivotal role in our continued success and be a driving force in our journey towards a water-resilient world.
The Opportunity
Technology will play an important role in the future of our business. The Interflow IT team is looking for an IT Business Partner to help us drive efficiency and innovation in how we operate, how our people work, and how Interflow delivers to its customers.
IT Business Partners are trusted partners and advisors to the business. As one of two IT Business Partners, most of your focus will be on the operational (field) and delivery side of the business (the other partner being more corporate-focused). This means you’ll work closely with operational business leaders in our construction delivery teams to understand their objectives – identifying opportunities for digitalisation, automation, and leveraging technology to standardise and step-change how we operate.
You’ll translate business needs into practical IT solutions – documenting requirements, leading evaluations, and making recommendations. You’ll also stay abreast of emerging technologies, continually assessing their potential application and benefits, and play a part in shaping enterprise architecture, ensuring our platforms remain future-ready.
Operationally, you’ll manage upgrades, minor works, and enhancements for the systems you oversee, and will provide limited 2nd / 3rd level support as required (we do have a separate a 1st level service desk). You’ll also manage vendor relationships, fostering positive relationships and ensuring our vendors are aligned as trusted partners.
If you enjoy working at the intersection of business and technology, and think you can help us on this journey, we’d love to hear from you! This role is positioned to have a bit impact on the delivery of our technology strategy, and our business’ future.
