Citibank, N.A. seeks an IT Business Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.
Duties: Develop Hive and Oracle SQL queries to analyze data. Analyze data patterns and trends from various source systems to produce meaningful and measurable reports. Access data using Hive Command Line Interface, HQL and Beeline. Perform data mapping and map gap analysis, and devise solutions to minimize gap. Maintain business data mapping and derivation logics in data dictionaries for consumption from upstream system. Define, configure and validate new business rules for products supported by the application for comprehensive model validation process including sensitivity analysis, benchmarking, back testing, and other quality reliability tests. Maintain the data management system in Genesis Retail Technology by gathering feed acquisition requirements, analyzing updated data demands by business, and implementing changes in upstream and downstream. Study detailed business processes of existing application and data sources, and create high-level functional requirement documents. Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements, and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and enhancements to current systems by analyzing business processes, systems and industry standards. Drive projects in accordance with plans and process framework. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, or related position involving business intelligence management system development and enhancement within the global financial services industry. 6 years of experience must include: Data structures and advanced database systems development; Data profiling and validation routines analysis and development; SQL and Hive queries development; Data access using Hive CLI, HQL, Beeline; Object-oriented analysis and development; Business requirements analysis and documentation; Functional requirements and operational processes analysis and documentation; Data mapping, map gap analysis, gap minimization; Data dictionaries development and maintenance; Software quality reliability testing including sensitivity analysis, benchmarking, back testing.
