Position Title: IT Business Applications Analyst II

The IT Business Applications Analyst II position is dedicated to driving successful projects for our global team, stakeholders, and customers, significantly enhancing organizational effectiveness, IT/business partnership, and return on investment. This role encompasses the planning, executing, closing, and monitoring all aspects of project delivery via the IT Project Management Office (PMO)’s project categorization and approved methodology. Additionally, this position will align cross-functional team resources, escalate risks and issues, process change requests, communicate project interdependencies, and successfully lead global project teams to achieve objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully works with global team members in a variety of time zones to achieve the project scope on-time and within budget.
  • Adheres to project methodologies, including the creation, maintenance, and organization of project artifacts such as charters, task schedules, budgets, project organizational charts, change requests, and closure documentation.
  • Engages in the planning, execution, and delivery of projects aimed at achieving company goals and objectives within set timeframes and budgets.
  • Proactively collaborates with and develops strong relationships among AE team members, vendors, and partners.
  • Establishes a project communications strategy to ensure effective change management, deliver results through highly effective communications, and keep stakeholders informed of key project statuses and milestones.
  • Ensuring risks and issues associated with project activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
  • Addresses project changes as they arise, often proactively, by altering project processes in accordance with project, departmental, and/or organizational compliance frameworks.
  • Conducts effective meeting management using agendas, minutes/recaps, and recordings to ensure the flow of information and progress.
  • Consistently on the lookout for ways to increase efficiency and reduce rework.
  • Develops (or creates) and maintains post-GoLive support model with project team.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (or equivalent).
  • 3+ years of experience leading multiple projects, large to small, to deliver system and business change to organizations.
  • Well-versed in public speaking and providing periodic updates to company executives.
  • Flexibility to work in an environment that includes meetings with global stakeholders and team members in numerous time zones.
  • Thorough use of project management/organization and data presentation tools: Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft Office/Teams/SharePoint.
  • Experience with global team membership and navigating time zone constraints.
  • Understands how to plan for and then facilitates quality project team meetings
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across different levels and departments within an organization.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and/or develop solutions to keep projects on budget and on time.
  • Drives implementation of moderately to highly complex work typically requiring confidentiality and enterprise-level visibility to achieve strategic IT and business goals.
  • Experienced in implementing change management strategies, ensuring stakeholders and teams are trained and adjusted new processes and systems.
  • Effectively communicates with stakeholders and executive/senior management, via written or oral, to provide insight on project status, concerns, etc.
  • Motivated to continue training on project management skills, as well as emerging technologies, e.g., AI, etc.
  • Experience with Change Management principals and methodologies.
  • Experience with third-party contractors assigned to managed project teams.
