About The Role

We are looking for a talented Analyst/QA Specialist to join our “Calypso Maintenance and QA” team within Technology Trading. Calypso is a large‑scale, enterprise‑grade system supporting trading and post‑trade processing for various capital markets products.

You will be part of an international Agile SCRUM team working closely with users and stakeholders across Riga, Stockholm, and other SEB locations. In this role, you will contribute to both business analysis and quality assurance activities, ensuring stable, high‑quality deliveries and maintenance in a regulated environment.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Developing and maintaining high-quality IT solutions, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, acceptance criteria, testing and user support.
• Actively participating in planning and follow-up to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries.
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand expectations and deliver business value.
• Identifying and driving continuous improvements in systems, processes, and ways of working, in line with secure development principles and internal IT policies.
• Sharing knowledge, supporting team development, and acting as a trusted contact within and outside the team.
• Taking ownership of your own learning and professional growth.

To Thrive in This Role, We Believe You Have

• A strong analytical mindset and genuine interest in problem‑solving.
• Hands‑on experience with software analysis, testing, and user support of enterprise level systems with complex workflows, including:
• • work with system logs, static code analysis, and database structures.
  • familiarity with different testing types (unit, integration, system, end‑to‑end, regression) and test automation frameworks.
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and practical experience working in Agile teams.
  • Basic proficiency in JAVA and Oracle SQL (deeper expertise is a strong advantage).
  • Ability to proactively suggest and implement improvements/optimizations (CI/CD experience is an advantage).
  • Experience in working with JIRA or similar development management tools.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

  It is a plus if you have

  • Knowledge of financial and capital markets products.
  • Previous exposure to the Calypso system, especially Back Office or post‑trade areas.

Monthly salary range for this position starting from: 2750 - 4000 EUR (before tax deduction). The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate*.Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
