IT Business Analyst Specialist in GAC Savannah


Unique Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience with Corridor is required
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively, manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced envrionment

Preferred:

  • Experience with Corridor troubleshooting and application administration
  • Audit support experience, including responding to audit requests and supporting compliance-related activities
  • Power BI experience, for reporting and analytics
  • Experience with Invar Warehosue System (IWS)

Education and Experience Requirements


Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, math, a related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 7 years leading Business Analysis activities for complex, technology-based business initiatives and/ or 4 years specific SAP system configuration, development and deployment experience. Position PurposeUnder administrative direction, uses specialized knowledge and skills to assist in the development or improvement of technology solutions by providing business analysis support for larger and more complex applications, including analyzing and documenting business processes and translating user requirements to software development teams. Provides training and plans, assigns, monitors and leads the work of others. Recommends or provides comprehensive solutions to complex problems. Extensive contact with internal customers is required. to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex issues. Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:

  1. Engages stakeholders and technology users in identifying, analyzing, refining and documenting business requirements for IT systems.
  2. Reviews operational procedures and methods; maps current business processes; defines and analyzes business activities; identifies best practices; and recommends improvements.
  3. Develops conceptual design documents, including alternative solutions, scope of work, functional specifications and logical skeletons for new systems.
  4. Serves as a liaison between end users and software development teams, including functioning as a subject matter expert (SME) in translating requirements to software development teams.
  5. Makes formal written and oral presentations on analysis findings, recommendations and system specifications.
  6. Identifies requirements for testing, develops test plans and scripts and coordinates testing, as required.
  7. Works with technical resources to assist with IT application/integration testing.

Additional Functions:

  1. Interprets, applies and recommends changes to organizational policies and procedures. .
  2. Trains, coaches and mentors others. .
  3. Leads projects as required. .

This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
