Job Title: IT Business Analyst (Sales & Operations Planning)

Location: Cracow, Hybrid (3 days a week from office)

The IT Business Analyst S&OP bridges the gap between the Business and the IT organization, supporting IT for Operations Supply Chain service owners in providing transparency and guidance on both sides of Business and IT for MS related subjects and facilitating maximizing value add activities in the IT environment on behalf of IT for Operations organization.

The IT BA S&OP supports the IT for operations team and the business stakeholders with strategic planning, roadmap creation, enhancements to realize process improvement and continuously develop leading-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse business needs and define scope by assessing existing processes, data, market trends, and IT solutions, while proactively identifying opportunities for efficiency, simplification, and enhancement.
  • Shape and prioritize business demand by collaborating with stakeholders, gathering requirements, clarifying details with Business Analysts, and leading the scoping/qualification of new initiatives.
  • Plan resources and timelines by forecasting needs across Supply Chain projects, balancing Business Analyst workload, and coordinating with procurement/vendor management when external support is required.
  • Oversee solution design and delivery by building business cases, ensuring support readiness, managing budgets and timelines, and acting as the first escalation point for project managers and external partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement by managing support teams, optimizing service levels (incidents/requests/changes), ensuring security compliance, and enhancing user satisfaction across Master Data systems.
  • Monitor and communicate business value by supporting long‑term roadmap creation, tracking incremental value delivery, linking business initiatives with IT outcomes, and promoting high-quality master data standards.
  • Provide S&OP and Anaplan expertise through deep knowledge of integrated planning cycles, hands‑on Anaplan model building, strong data analysis skills, and effective cross-functional collaboration and change management.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Information Systems, with responsibility for a similar or broader functional scope, ideally in industrial operations (pharmaceutical industry is a plus).
  • End-to-end S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) expertise, including strong understanding of integrated planning cycles.
  • Proficiency in ANAPLAN Demand & Supply Planning, with hands-on experience in model building and planning workflows.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as M3, along with familiarity with modern and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership in large-scale Warehouse Management and Supply Chain projects, managing multiple initiatives in parallel.
  • Strong cross-cultural and multilingual collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
  • Solid understanding of GxP requirements and Computerized System Validation (CSV) to ensure compliance in regulated environments; stakeholder management is a valuable asset.
