Rockwell Automation is looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst – LCA Tools to support, maintain and expand our enterprise Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) solution. You will be part of the global IT organization and work with sustainability, engineering, and partners to ensure the LCA tool continues to meet evolving regulatory, reporting, and our needs.

As the IT Business Analyst for the LCA platform, you will be the primary functional owner of the solution, bridging our requirements with technical implementation. Also,we are looking for advanced VBA programming capabilities and working knowledge of database management to enhance the tool.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Be a primary IT Business Analyst and functional owner for the enterprise LCA tool.
  • Elicit, analyze and document requirements related to sustainability, product environmental impact, and reporting.
  • Translate our needs into functional specifications and technical requirements.
  • Maintain the LCA tool using advanced VBA programming, including automation, data validation, and performance optimization.
  • Design, implement, and support data integrations between the LCA tool and underlying databases or upstream/downstream systems.
  • Perform basic database management activities, including data modeling, querying, and data quality checks.
  • Collaborate with partners, sustainability experts and IT partners to provide end-to-end solutions.
  • Manage enhancement requests, defects, and backlog items using Agile tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Participate in Agile / SAFe ceremonies such as daily syncs, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
  • Ensure documentation of business processes, functional designs, technical logic, and user guide.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for the LCA platform.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in an IT Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience gathering and translating our requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Advanced VBA programming skills, including complex macros, automation, and error handling.
  • Working knowledge of database concepts (relational databases, tables, queries, and basic SQL).
  • Experience enhancing business-critical tools or applications.
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum or SAFe delivery environments.
  • Fluent in English (C1)

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Experience with sustainability, LCA, environmental reporting, or ESG-related tools and processes
  • Exposure to data integration concepts and ETL processes.
  • Experience with ticketing or support tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Experience working in a global environment.
