We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to coordinate automation improvements for our Finance, Accounting, and Human Resources teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in value stream mapping, process optimization, and system integration related to business functions in ERP, HRIS, Payroll, and Financial Management systems. This candidate will work closely with Firefly Finance, Accounting, and HR leadership to gather data and requirements, prioritize software development work with our Software development team, and lead changes to scale business operations with cutting-edge technologies and automated processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of automation projects to drive efficiency and scale for our Finance, Accounting, and HR teams, from planning to post go-live, ensuring the accomplishment of desired scope, timeline, quality, and budget.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and schedule development, including feature and enhancement requests and configuration changes, to ensure Firefly systems align with business needs.
Analyze current business processes and operational workflows to identify gaps and areas for improvement using value stream mapping techniques.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support digital transformation efforts.
Develop training materials and provide end-user training.
Develop user manuals, process documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
Provide ongoing support for business system users.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
High familiarity with ERP, HRIS, Payroll, Financial Management, and Accounting software and business processes, including system configuration and integration
2-4 years business analysis, business process reengineering, value stream mapping, and solutions implementation experience, in vertically integrated manufacturing environments.
Demonstrated experience assisting in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, testing (UAT), and business user training.
The ability to gracefully manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects in fast-paced dynamic environment.
Strong analytic skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
Excellent time management, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
Desired
BA/BS degree preferred, with relevant work experience in software products
3+ years' experience in ERP, HRIS, Payroll, or Financial Management system development and implementation, specifically Odoo, NetSuite, Oracle, Workday, ADP, SAP, or similar modular systems.
Atlassian product experience using Agile methodologies such as Jira and Confluence
Professional experience in Aerospace or manufacturing environment.
Experience utilizing tools such as Data loader, SQL Developer, and TOAD.
Capable of working in a constantly evolving environment.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure situations.
Works well on a collaborative and multidisciplinary team.
