SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

The IT Business Analyst for Finance Reporting & Analytics will work with Eurofins’ finance stakeholders and IT teams to design, develop, and deliver financial reporting and analytics solutions based on D365 Finance & Operations data. The role focuses on gathering reporting requirements, analyzing Eurofins business processes and D365 data structures, defining KPIs, preparing report layouts and functional specifications, and supporting the development and testing of reports and dashboards using D365FO native tools, but also Power BI, Excel, and other analytics tools.

Typical reporting areas include in between: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Trial Balance, AP/AR aging, Fixed Assets, CAPEX, Cost Accounting reporting, Tax/compliance reports, as well as massive intercompany and GL/subledger reconciliations.

As part of the D365 Centre of Excellence (CoE), the successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver standardized, scalable, and compliant reporting solutions across 40+ countries. The position is transversal, contributing to global harmonization of financial reporting and data models. Occasional on-site travel may be required for workshops, deployment activities, and Go-Live support.

POSITION & OBJECTIVES:

Reporting & Analytics Design. Gather reporting requirements from all stakeholders, maintain reporting inventory, design report layouts and KPIs, and translate them into clear functional specifications for Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools, ensuring alignment with Eurofins’ global reporting framework and standards,

Data Analysis & Modelling. Analyze D365FO financial data structures, validate data quality, support data extraction and modelling activities, and ensure accurate representation of key financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), operational reports, and reconciliations,

Reporting Testing & Release. Lead or support functional testing of reports and dashboards (SIT, UAT), document test scenarios, track defects, and ensure reporting solutions meet accuracy, performance, and usability standards before release to production,

Documentation. Create and maintain functional documentation including reporting specifications, data mapping sheets, row/columns definition, process flows, user guides, and test scripts to ensure clarity, auditability, and alignment with global standards,

Project Delivery & Rollout Support. Support reporting and analytics workstreams during D365FO deployments and improvements, collaborating with the CoE, implementation partners, and country teams to ensure timely delivery of standardized reports across regions,

Training & Stakeholder Support. Provide training, documentation, and post Go-Live support to finance users, helping them adopt new reporting solutions and ensuring stable operations and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Minimum 7-8 years of operational finance experience in roles such as Reporting Analyst, Management Accountant, Finance Controller, or Business Controller within a medium or large international organization. Hands-on experience producing, analyzing, and interpreting financial and management reports is the most important requirement for this role.

Familiarity with ERP systems especially D365FO/SCM, AX2012, Great Plains, or other modern ERPs is a strong plus. Experience leveraging ERP data structures for reporting or participating in reporting workstreams during ERP deployments



Strong expertise in financial and management reporting, including preparation and analysis of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Trial Balance, Ageing AP/AR reports, Fixed Assets, Cost reporting, reconciliations (GL/subledger, intercompany), budgeting/forecasting outputs, and statutory/compliance-related reporting,

Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience in end-to-end of delivery reporting solutions in large organization using Power BI, Excel, or other reporting tools. Knowledge of reporting in D365FO or AX2012 or similar ERP solutions is a plus.



Excellent presentation and information design skills, with the ability to tailor report design, report layouts, visualizations, and messaging to suit different stakeholder groups, levels of seniority, and business needs and in compliance with Eurofins’ standards.



Experience working with modern reporting and analytics tools, such as Power BI, Excel (advanced), and data modelling methods, with the ability to design KPIs, report layouts, and analytical dashboards,

Minimum bachelor's or master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.



Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; additional languages are an advantage.

Additional Information

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required (20%-40%, depending on project phase) to regional offices, subsidiaries, or project sites may be required to support UAT, workshops, and Go-Live activities,

Work Environment: The role is transversal and collaborative, interacting with Finance, IT, external Partner and corporate and regional business + IT teams in a multicultural and international environment,

Contract Type & Location: Minimum contract duration: 1 Year with high probability for extension to 2 Years. B2B preferred, with flexibility for hybrid remote collaboration with international teams. Permanent contract considerable.
