Job Description

We are looking for a IT Business Analyst – Finance to support one of our clients in the reinsurance industry, operating in a complex, international environment. You will join a dynamic technology and finance ecosystem, working at the intersection of business, IT, and investment operations.

You will initially work on a defined scope related to DIP RDWH, a central repository for Life & Health cashflows, with the opportunity to progressively expand your responsibilities and technical exposure.

What Youll Do

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, challenge, and document functional and technical requirements.
  • Design and propose financial solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a key liaison between business, IT, testing teams, and external partners, ensuring smooth delivery and alignment.
  • Support implementation and testing activities, including test case preparation, validation of results, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure solutions follow best-practice processes, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.

What Were Looking For

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience participating in the software development lifecycle, including architecture and integration components, ideally in an international context.
  • Experience within the financial services industry, previous exposure to reinsurance, insurance, investment, or asset/wealth management banking.
  • Strong business-oriented mindset with the ability to understand functional context and translate it into effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.
  • Professional-level English, written and spoken.
