Business Analyst in IT Management Accounting – Analytics in Controlling.

We are looking for IT Business Analyst in Analytics to be part of our Management Accounting team in Controlling.

The role

Support the Management Accounting and Controlling product team in delivering digital finance solutions. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to drive requirements, analytics, and process improvements. Leverage Snowflake, AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI technologies to enhance financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making.

What you’ll do (max. 5)

• Act as the bridge between Finance and IT, gathering, analyzing, and translating Management Accounting and Controlling business requirements into scalable digital solutions, while ensuring alignment across global stakeholders.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives leveraging Snowflake, advanced analytics, AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI capabilities to improve financial reporting, performance management, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Analyze end-to-end data flows and integrations across finance systems, coordinating problem-solving activities with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, consistency, reliability, and business value realization.
• Lead solution delivery activities including prioritization, backlog management, sprint planning, testing, user acceptance, documentation, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
• Develop business insights, dashboards, proof-of-concepts, and innovative analytical solutions, supporting initiatives such as AI-powered financial analysis, automated commentary generation, conversational analytics ("Talk-to-Your-Data"), and next-generation finance capabilities.

Minimum qualifications: (max. 5)

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field, with 6+ years of experience delivering analytics and data-driven solutions in a corporate environment.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, SAP BW/BW4HANA, Azure Data Factory, and data integration technologies.
• Hands-on experience in Power BI development, including data modeling, semantic models, dashboard design, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of data pipelines, process automation, data quality, monitoring tools, and cloud-based analytics architectures.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with exposure to Python, Machine Learning, AI, and Generative AI technologies considered a strong advantage.

Bonus Points If You: (max. 3)

• Knowledge of SAP Controlling (CO), Central Finance, or Finance Data Platforms.
• Experience with AI-driven analytics, automated insights, or financial commentary generation.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovation and emerging technologies.
