Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and independent IT Business Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. In this role, you will take full analytical ownership of assigned topics — from initial business request through analysis, solution design, cooperation with DWH engineers, testing, and final delivery back to stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

End-to-End Business Analysis

• Take full ownership of assigned business requests and drive them from initial clarification to final delivery.

• Collect, analyze, structure, and clearly document business requirements.

• Transform business needs into functional specifications, use cases, user stories, data requirements, and acceptance criteria.

• Independently cover your domain and ensure continuity of knowledge.

Solution Design & Collaboration with DWH / BI Teams

• Work closely with DWH engineers, BI developers and architecture teams.

• Ensure that requirements are technically implementable and aligned with BI standards.

• Support system configuration and contribute to solution definition.

Testing, Quality Assurance & Delivery

• Prepare test scenarios and test scripts.

• Analyze defects, identify root causes, propose fixes and drive prioritization.

• Validate deliverables and ensure alignment with business expectations.

Stakeholder Management

• Communicate proactively with business owners, finance, IT, and other partners.

• Facilitate workshops and analytical discussions.

• Prepare documentation, manuals and user guides.

• Provide support during BI system changes and operational peaks.

Agile Collaboration

• Work independently as a proactive member of an Agile team.

• Actively participate in team ceremonies and analytic workshops.

Our Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, ideally in the area of IT.

• Experience with BI/DWH or complex IT projects.

• SQL skills and experience working with databases and data analysis.

• Ability to work independently end‑to‑end.

• Strong analytical and logical thinking.

• English – B2.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Qlik Sense

Basic wage component (brutto): from 2 800 EUR

*Financial bonus based on performance paid twice a year up to 10% from the base salary paid during the evaluation period (usually 6 months).

* The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
