Job Description

The IT Business Analyst will support IT projects and evolving business requirements across the Asia-Pacific region. Reporting to the IT Business Engagement Manager (APAC), this role involves working with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to gather and document requirements, support solution implementation, and ensure successful delivery of IT initiatives.

We're looking for someone analytical and detail-oriented with hands-on experience in business analysis, application support, and project management. You'll be instrumental in driving effective IT solutions that meet the company's needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to capture and translate business needs and technical requirements.
• Perform analysis including data review, mapping of business processes, and documentation of system flows; conduct workshops to gather input.
• Prepare for and manage testing phases—design scenarios, coordinate reviews, and support deployment.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors in the APAC region to determine suitable solutions, define project scopes, and manage timelines and deliverables.
• Keep stakeholders informed on project progress and milestones.
• Provide application support by troubleshooting issues and coordinating with IT and vendor teams to resolve them promptly.
• Act as the liaison between end users and the technical development team for functional clarifications.
• Assist in vendor management for system upgrades, maintenance, and ongoing support.

Requirements

• Degree in IT or a related discipline.
• Around 5 years’ experience managing enterprise-level or regional applications and IT projects.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with presentation ability.
• Good grasp of system development life cycles and IT architecture, including infrastructure and security.
• Knowledge of low-code platforms, data visualization tools (e.g., QlikSense, Tableau, PowerBI), and analytics is beneficial.
• Experience in shipping or logistics is a plus.
