Job Description

About us

Museum of Illusions is the world's largest and fastest-growing museum chain with 70 locations in 27 countries, and big plans for further expansion. Our original concept was launched in 2015 and quickly became a recognizable global brand and leading attraction in each city where it was launched.

Our young and motivated team is rapidly growing, and we invite you to join us in our mission to bring interactive, immersive, and fun experiences to everyone eager to have their mind blown.

As we are rapidly growing, we invite you to join us in our mission to bring interactive, immersive, fun experiences to everyone who is eager to have their mind blown.

The primary responsibility of this role is to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by analyzing data, identifying trends, and translating insights into actionable recommendations. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to support data-driven decision-making and improve operational efficiency throughout the organization.

What you would get to do:

  • Gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Analyzing business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Creating detailed reports and dashboards in Power BI to support management decision-making.
  • Collaborating with the data engineering team to ensure data availability and accuracy.
  • Translating complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Supporting the definition and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) across museum locations.
  • Participating in cross-functional projects to implement process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Conducting ad-hoc data analysis to respond to business questions and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintaining and updating business documentation, process flows, and data dictionaries.
  • Acting as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals.

What you should bring along:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a business analyst or closely related role.
  • Comfort working with revenue drivers, demand forecasting, or performance benchmarking — with a focus on commercial outcomes, not just data outputs.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into meaningful business insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and performing independent data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools for building reports and dashboards.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high data quality standards in reporting deliverables.
  • Background in economics, consulting, or a related analytical field is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of business process modeling tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar is a plus.

What you can expect from working with us:

  • Full-time salaried position with a bonus structure
  • Supplementary and additional health insurance
  • A young, vibrant and ambitious team to work with
  • A fun, exciting and industry-leading concept to manage and develop in Zagreb
  • Reimbursement of travel expenses and provision of the warm meal

If you don’t think you meet all the criteria but are still interested in the job, please apply. Nobody checks every box - we’re looking for candidates that are particularly strong in a few areas and have some interest and capabilities in others.
