We’re partnering with a mission-driven organization seeking a Business Analyst to support large-scale technology initiatives and drive data-informed decision-making. Core duties and responsibilities include:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to support technology solutions
• Translate complex business needs into clear functional specs, workflows, and user stories
• Lead stakeholder meetings, workshops, and discovery sessions
• Analyze data, identify trends, and build reports/dashboards to support decisions
• Evaluate and improve business processes to drive efficiency and performance
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and within scope
• Support testing, validation, and successful implementation of new systems
• Identify risks, manage priorities, and help guide projects through completion

Required skills and qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, IT, or related field
• Experience with requirements gathering, SDLC (Agile/Waterfall), and project support
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with tools like Microsoft Office, project tracking, and requirements management tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, IT, or related field

Nice to Have:

• Experience in education, public sector, or policy environments
• Familiarity with California education systems or government organizations

Compensation:

The Salary range for this position is from $95k to $100k, depending on experience.
