The Business Analyst works alongside the Senior Analyst to address the company's reporting and analytics requirements. This position involves collaborating with the Business Process Owner and other stakeholders to enhance reporting capabilities and ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytics essential for business decisions. Initially, the role is on-site, but remote work may be permitted once training is successfully completed and the individual becomes familiar with complex business processes. Applicants must be Naturalized U.S. citizens to qualify for this position.
Job Scope and Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document clear business requirements.
• Create and maintain project documentation such as use cases, process flows, and specifications.
• Serve as a liaison between business users and IT teams to facilitate effective communication and ensure project expectations are met.
• Participate in solution testing and validation, including User Acceptance Testing, to confirm business requirements are satisfied.
• Support project planning and execution, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and within scope using project management tools.
• Create and maintain SQL views over Data Lake Environment
Education/Certification:
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology is preferred or actively working towards degree.
Skills:
• 1 to 3 years of experience using SSMS, SQL is required
• 1 to 3 years of experience using Microsoft Power BI is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for evaluating business processes and recommending improvements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and documenting requirements.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools, using ticketing systems like Service Desk Plus and Azure DevOps, and a basic understanding of IT systems and business processes.
• Ability to ensure accuracy in documentation and analysis through careful attention to detail.
