We are now looking for a highly motivated IT Business Analyst to work in new challenging outsourced projects.

The IT Business Analyst acts as the primary liaison between the Business Units and the IT Department. The role is responsible for the systematic intake, assessment, prioritization, and high-level analysis of business demands originating from all the Business Units. This is a critical position as it ensures that incoming IT requests are accurately captured and translated into actionable high-level requirements, as well as they are introduced into the overall demand backlog after being properly qualified. The position reports to IT Project Management & Business Analysis Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidates, reviews, and evaluates demand requests on a recurring basis so that a unified and transparent IT Demand Backlog is maintained.
  • Facilitates Demand Review Boards / Steering Committees, presenting recommendations and supporting decision-making.
  • Monitors each demand item through its full lifecycle until handover to IT delivery teams.
  • Performs initial scoping and preliminary analysis to validate business needs and expected outcomes together with the Demand requestor(s).
  • Analyses existing business processes, identifies gaps, collects and documents them in high-level Business Requirements Documents.
  • Defines initial acceptance criteria and high-level user stories to support estimation and planning.
  • Collaborates with Technical Leads to assess feasibility, constraints, and alignment.
  • Serves as the focal point for IT demand intake and prioritization topics.
  • Builds a trusted relationship with Business Units, ensuring a good understanding of their objectives and challenges. Communicates clearly about timelines, prioritization decisions, dependencies, and IT resource limitations. Sets realistic expectations and promotes transparency between business and IT stakeholders.
  • Supports the IT governance framework by maintaining KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in roles such as IT Business Analyst, IT Project Manager or Demand Manager.
  • Proven experience managing demand pipelines with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in ERP, SAP, SAP S/4HANA, MOM/MES, Planning & Scheduling projects is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to agile / hybrid delivery environments.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, architecture and technical terminology.
  • Hands-on experience with demand/project management tools such as ServiceNow is highly desirable.
  • Competence in Business Analysis & Modelling Techniques such as UML/BPMN.
  • Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are nice-to-have.
