About the role:

The IT BI Sr. Reporting Analyst is responsible for the delivery of operational reports, tools and analytics to business stakeholders’ primarily in Mexico and occasionally in other Latin American Countries.

In this role you will:

Ensure the timely and accurate generation of regular (daily, weekly and monthly) and ad hoc reporting, ensuring consistency and standardization across all countries in scope.
• Develop new reports in Power BI and make additional changes as and when required.
• Migrate reports from IBM Cognos Report Studio to Power BI using Power BI Report Builder and Power BI Desktop.
• Proactively deliver insights to drive improvements in performance and help the business hit their strategic objectives. Provide with trends and forecasts.
• Maintain controls and documentation of reporting procedures.
• Perform other ad hoc duties in support of analysis and reporting that need innovation.
• Interfaces directly with senior management when required.
• Supports reporting and analytics requirements through ticketing system.
• Provide training on BI tools to business users.

What makes You an ideal candidate?


• Fluent in Spanish and English. (Portuguese is desirable).
• Experience in Automotive Financial sector is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of statistics.
• Availability to travel internationally for business purposes.
• Prior reporting or analytics experience.
• Advanced experience with Power BI (Desktop, Services & Report Builder) and DAX.
• Experience with Cognos Report Studio, or other end-user reporting tools.
• Experience with SQL, Databricks, Python or SAS.
• Microsoft Office Advanced Proficiency: Excel (Macros), Access, Power Point.
• Effective communication skills in both written and spoken format.
• Ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures.
• High organizational skills.
• Proficient analytical skills.

Additional Knowledge and Skills

Working effectively within an AI enabled environment:

Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work

Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias

Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights

Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation

Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection

Work Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Informatics, Economics or related field.
