Job Description

Division: Group Technology Services (GTS)

Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and support of CICD pipelines and tooling (e.g., automation, deployments, integrations).
  • Participate in day-to-day squad activities, including backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
  • Support incident resolution and problem analysis related to CICD processes and production deployments.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical tasks
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, security, and governance practices
  • Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and onboarding materials.
  • Assist in testing activities (functional, technical validation, pipeline testing).
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities in processes, tooling, and workflows.

Expected skills & experience

  • Basic to intermediate understanding of:
    • CICD concepts (pipelines, automation, version control)
    • DevOps practices and agile ways of working
  • Familiarity with relevant tools and environments (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps/TFS, scripting, mainframe or distributed systems depending on your stack).
  • Ability to analyze issues and propose solutions with support from senior team members
  • Good communication and collaboration skills within a distributed team environment.

Autonomy & collaboration

  • Works on defined tasks with guidance from senior engineers or the Product Owner.
  • Gradually increases autonomy in owning small features or enhancements
  • Actively collaborates within the team and seeks feedback to improve

Growth expectations

  • Build stronger technical expertise in CICD and platform components
  • Increase ownership of features and deliver end-to-end tasks with limited supervision
  • Improve ability to troubleshoot issues and contribute to solutions independently
  • Actively contribute to team knowledge and continuous improvement culture
