Reports to: Global Lead PPSS / Head of Information Management

The role

As Product Manager IT Asset Management & Information Management, you are responsible for end-to-end product ownership of IT asset and information management capabilities within the PPSS domain.

You define and drive the product vision, roadmap and backlog, ensuring maximum business value, while also leading the execution of change initiatives and implementations required to deliver this vision.

You operate at the intersection of business, technology and security, ensuring that IT assets, data and platforms are:

  • strategically aligned,
  • compliant with regulatory requirements, and
  • effectively delivered, adopted and embedded in the organisation.

The team

You are part of the Global PPSS setup and work in a highly collaborative, international environment across PPSS and Corporate Technology.

You collaborate closely with Product Owners, IT Custodians, architects, Risk, Compliance and business stakeholders.
You act as both product owner and change lead, influencing decision-making, aligning stakeholders and ensuring successful delivery across global forums and governance structures.

Roles and responsibilities

Product strategy & roadmap ownership (GJA anchor)

  • Define and drive the product vision and multi-year roadmap for IT Asset Management and Information Management
  • Translate business strategy, regulatory requirements and security priorities into clear product objectives and value-driven outcomes
  • Own and prioritise the product backlog, balancing business value, risk and technical feasibility
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, Corporate Technology and PPSS strategy

Product lifecycle & value management

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets (initiation → implementation → maintenance → decommissioning)
  • Monitor performance, usage and value realisation of IT assets and platforms
  • Drive data-driven improvements and optimisation of products and processes
  • Maintain visibility on system dependencies, technical debt and long-term sustainability

Change delivery & implementation management (BJ strength retained)

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of change initiatives, from design through implementation, adoption and stabilisation
  • Translate roadmap items into structured implementation plans, milestones and deliverables
  • Coordinate implementation activities (releases, migrations, process changes, testing, deployment)
  • Ensure timely, controlled and high-quality delivery across complex environments

Governance, planning & control

  • Establish and maintain integrated planning, status reporting and governance structures
  • Manage dependencies, risks, issues and decision-making processes
  • Ensure structured use of RAID logs, reporting and steering mechanisms
  • Balance agile/product ways of working with structured governance requirements

Business readiness & adoption

  • Drive change impact assessments and business readiness activities
  • Ensure effective stakeholder communication, training and adoption
  • Track adoption, value realisation and post-implementation performance
  • Ensure sustainable embedding of new capabilities into operations

Risk, compliance & security alignment

  • Ensure alignment with risk, security and regulatory frameworks (e.g. DORA, GDPR)
  • Integrate security-by-design and control requirements into product and change delivery
  • Support audits, risk assessments and compliance activities

Stakeholder & vendor management

  • Act as end-to-end product owner and primary point of contact for stakeholders and vendors
  • Align business, IT and risk stakeholders around priorities and delivery
  • Manage vendor performance, contracts and delivery outcomes

Continuous improvement & innovation

  • Identify opportunities for innovation, automation and digitalisation
  • Improve product performance, user experience and resilience
  • Strengthen both product management discipline and change delivery maturity within PPSS

Who we are looking for

  • Master’s degree (Information Management, IT, Business Administration or similar)
  • 8–10+ years of experience in:
    • Product management and/or
    • Change / project delivery in IT environments
  • Strong understanding of:
    • IT systems, architecture and lifecycle management
    • Product management (roadmaps, backlog, value delivery)
    • Structured change and implementation methodologies
  • Experience in regulated environments (financial services preferred)
  • Knowledge of IT risk, security and compliance frameworks
