Role Overview

The Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst supports enterprise software license management across global vendor agreements. This role partners closely with technology teams, procurement, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate license tracking, compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement of software asset processes.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Support the full software license lifecycle for enterprise agreements, including subscription activation and account administration
• 
  Collaborate with technology teams, procurement, and asset management stakeholders to oversee license usage and fiscal spend
• 
  Maintain software tracking, reporting, and dashboards to support compliance and budgeting
• 
  Provide input into annual budget planning and software control measures
• 
  Manage service requests and support leadership with data‑driven recommendations
• 
  Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend enhancements
• 
  Assess stakeholder needs and trends through ongoing communication
• 
  Support vendor engagement related to renewals and new agreements
• 
  Conduct user acceptance testing and post‑release validation
• 
  Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

• 
  Minimum 2 years of experience supporting technology systems, assets, or vendor agreements related to software licensing
• 
  Strong written, verbal, analytical, and communication skills
• 
  Ability to manage processes across distributed teams and multiple vendors
• 
  Experience with ServiceNow ticketing systems
• 
  Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced corporate environment

Preferred

• 
  Experience with technology asset management or systems administration
• 
  Working knowledge of licensing models, cloud solutions, and subscription agreements
• 
  Experience with SAM tools such as ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, or SNOW
• 
  Strong organizational and time‑management skills
• 
  High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities
• 
  Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• 
  Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and Salesforce applications
