Pay

Salaried grade 5
$62,800 - $70,500 / year, depending on qualifications and experience
Actual salaries may vary and in some cases may be higher with extensive experience and strong performance.

This position is part of a career ladder that includes grades 5-7, indicating potential for advancement.

1st Shift, (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.); other hours as needed

McKee Foods is seeking an IT Asset Administrator to join our IT Asset team. Become part of a team that values innovation, adaptability, and a willingness to “get the job done.” The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to quickly learn and master new technology, provide excellent on-site support for the rapidly changing end user device space, and have a strong desire to learn and grow with a team in continuous improvement efforts. We're looking for a self-starter that’s a proactive and detail-oriented team member who takes ownership, solves problems, and helps improve our IT asset processes.

  • Provides onsite triage and support to resolve technical issues and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Works to resolve issues and requests related to company workstations, laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, software, hardware, and peripherals, and may work with higher level teams to resolve complex issues
  • Deliver, install, and set up computer systems, including software installation
  • Participate in and help promote corporate standardization for improved support and lower total cost of ownership (TCO)
  • Manages asset inventories and maintains information on licenses, warranties, and service level agreements
  • Ensure compliance with purchasing procedures and standards
  • Tracks quality throughout product / contract lifetimes

Required Qualifications

  • Two+ years of college or Associate's Degree (two years of experience may be substituted for each year of required college education)
  • One year of experience in computer hardware and repair, software installation
  • Basic knowledge/experience in Windows and mobile operating systems
  • Ability to set up/build computer systems and peripherals with the ability to diagnose and repair, or replace equipment and parts
  • Experience supporting Windows OS (10, 11, Server 2016, Server 2022)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Effective customer service experience with a high level of professionalism, initiative, and assertiveness
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills including tracking and researching problems to identify and solve root causes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
  • Strong desire and aptitude to learn quickly, develop new skills and work independently
  • Must be willing to travel up to 5%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • One or more years of experience in Desktop Support and/or Help Desk
  • Experience supporting network switches and routers
  • Working knowledge of scripting technologies including, PowerShell, WMI, and experience with Active Directory
  • System Administration experience including Vmware
  • Experience with Linux and MacOS
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini to augment technical skills, assist with troubleshooting problems, etc.
  • Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management softwares
  • Project Management experience
