For our local IT department, we are looking for an experienced IT architect who would like to join us in developing the bank further. As an IT Architect, you will be the strategic thinker behind our technological future. You design, develop and assess innovative IT solutions that align with our corporate goals and the IT strategy of the bank. With your vision, you ensure an optimal connection between technology and our (future) organizational goals.

Your role:

• Define the target IT architecture and subsequent roadmap(s) for Handelsbanken Netherlands.
• Act as a bridge between business and IT by translating demands into architectural solution designs.
• Act a point of contact towards the central Swedish IT organization regarding architectural matters.
• Analyze and advise on the feasibility and impact of IT development initiatives.
• Identify innovations and trends and translate them into opportunities for the bank.
• Maintain the architectural documentation of the IT landscape.

Our offer:

• A salary of minimum €4.651 and a maximum of €7.156 gross per month, based on a 40-hour working week, depending on your knowledge and experience,
• A 13th month and 8% holiday pay. You can choose to have this paid out per month.
• Annually 30 vacation days (based on a 40-hour working week) and the possibility to buy or sell additional vacation days.
• A non-contributory pension scheme, so you build your pension without any personal contributions required.
• NS Business card for commuting and business travels. Mileage allowance when using private transportation.
• Hybrid working where you can work partly from home.
• We offer an allowance as well to arrange your home-office in a sustainable way.

Your profile:

• You reside in the Netherlands and are eligible to work in the Netherlands, as we do not
  offer visa sponsorship.
• A Bachelor or Master’s degree in IT, and 7+ years of professional experience in IT architecture or similar role.
• Experience in the financial industry and in particular the banking sector is a big plus.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Experience in stakeholder management and advising senior management.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT trends in the industry.
• Strong hands-on mentality, intrinsically motivated, independent and result-driven.
• High cooperation skills and a desire to contribute to a good atmosphere in the team.
• Excellent English and Dutch speaking and writing skills are a must.
• You are willing to travel abroad (occasionally).
• You are eager to continuously develop yourself.
