Job Description

Supports and monitors the daily operation, configuration, and integration of enterprise applications to maintain system stability, security, and alignment with business objectives. Collaborates with business units, IT teams, and vendors to lead updates, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support that enhances application performance, strengthens operational continuity, and improves end‑user experience.

  • Monitors daily application performance and system usage while resolving end‑user issues, providing technical guidance, and delivering custom reports and dashboards to support operational stability and informed business decisions.

  • Configures application settings, workflows, and permissions while defining and maintaining user‑ and role‑based security profiles, updating them to meet audit and governance requirements, and documenting all configurations, changes, and technical standards to ensure continuity and compliance.

  • Coordinates integrations between enterprise applications and connected business systems -such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)- to ensure seamless data exchange, functional alignment, and consistent end‑to‑end system performance.

  • Manages environment lifecycle activities by performing system refreshes, validating environment integrity, and maintaining version control to ensure consistent, reliable application performance.

  • Executes the planning, coordination, and execution of application updates, patches, and version upgrades in collaboration with vendors and IT teams, validating all changes in a staging environment prior to production deployment to ensure stability and readiness.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and implement process enhancements and application modifications that strengthen functionality and support evolving business needs.

  • Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.

  • Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.

  • Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.

Additional Job Description:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.

Experience

  • 5 years of experience supporting enterprise application systems or related technology platforms.

  • Experience with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, or industry-specific software.

  • Experience coordinating application updates, patches, and version upgrades preferred.

  • Experience with system security, access controls, and data validation preferred.

  • Preferred experience supporting enterprise application environments, including:
    • ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite)
    • Time & Attendance solutions (e.g., UKG)
    • Asset Management applications
    • Workforce Management and Field Service solutions
    • Integrated enterprise environments using APIs, middleware, and system interfaces

Additional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role:

  • Associate’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Analytics or related field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 8 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 5 years of experience performing a previous Specialist role.

  • High School or equivalent (GED) when accompanied by a minimum of 10 years of experience performing similar functions described and at least 8 years of experience performing a previous Specialist role.
