Job Description

Main missions are :

  • Ensure system stability and run continuity for the full system (services, batches, etc… running in Europe or Singapore)
  • Provide support to the users on the application perimeter: Pre-trade/Pricing – Trade Life Cycle – Post Trade/Greeks/V@r/Valo – Curves marking tools – Market data – Static referential – Short term trading.
  • Share relevant information with support and development teams in Paris & Brussels

The main responsibilities are

  • Production monitoring
  • Monitor the global IT platform and execute the associated action when alerts are raised.
  • Process (analyze, solve, document) incidents.
  • Coordinate incidents resolution with Paris teams when necessary (for instance with infrastructure teams or on-duty people)
  • Maintain monitoring systems and continuously share ideas to improve its effectiveness.
  • Actively participate in the writing or enhancement of operational procedures (in link with the monitoring alerts)
  • Engage in FTS (Follow-the-Sun) model with Europe, including information sharing and tasks handover
  • Follow up on the evolution of the IT platform (release) and adapt monitoring tools and procedures
  • Support to users
  • Process local user support requests (configurations, assistance,…)
  • Collect regularly user feed-backs on system Run Quality and share it with development teams

  • Professional Experience
  • Trading & Risk Management Knowledge
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience as an Application Support Specialist within commodity trading, energy trading, or financial services environments.
  • Experience supporting trading, risk management, and portfolio management processes across front, middle, and back-office functions.
  • Proven experience working in live trading environments and supporting business-critical applications.
  • Experience with ETRM/CTRM, trading, or risk management platforms such as Orchestrade, Endur, Murex, Calypso, Beacon, or equivalent solutions.
  • Experience working with global and cross-regional teams in delivering business and technology initiatives.
  • Understanding of the complete trade life cycle including trade capture, validation, confirmations, fixings, exercises, liquidations, terminations, settlements, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of risk management concepts and metrics, including:
  • Greeks and sensitivities
  • P&L explain and attribution
  • Mark-to-Market (MtM)
  • Value-at-Risk (VaR)
  • Position and exposure management
  • Limit monitoring and controls
  • Understanding of pre-trade pricing, valuation methodologies, and risk engine concepts.
  • Experience with market data management, curve building, valuation curves, and market data retrieval platforms.
  • Understanding of static data management, reference data governance, and workflow management processes.

  • Good understanding of Windows environments and enterprise application ecosystems.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to investigate complex business and technical issues and identify practical solutions.
