Hitachi Energy Transformers - Business Solutions IT Organization is seeking a Global IT Application Business Analyst to provide overall support to the Global BST IT team, driving value and business growth.

Are you passionate about driving digital transformation in Marketing and Sales through modern, datadriven solutions? As an IT Business Analyst within the TR BST IT organization, you will play a key role in shaping and enhancing our Marketing & Sales application landscape, including CPQ, CRM, and related platforms.

You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams, ensuring that business needs are translated into scalable, secure, and highvalue digital solutions. Working across global teams, you will support demand management, requirements engineering, and continuous improvement of solutions that enable commercial excellence and customer satisfaction.

How you will make an impact

  • Act as the primary IT Business Analyst for Marketing & Sales applications (e.g., CPQ, CRM, Salesforce, pricing and quoting solutions)
  • Lead requirements gathering activities by working closely with business stakeholders to capture, structure, and validate business needs
  • Manage and support IT demand lifecycle, including intake, qualification, prioritization, and transition into projects or enhancements
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to define business processes, use cases, and solution requirements (functional and non-functional)
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and collaborate with IT delivery teams for implementation
  • Ensure alignment between business needs, IT strategy, and application architecture
  • Support project delivery by participating in design reviews, testing, and deployment activities
  • Monitor and analyze system performance and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities
  • Drive harmonization and standardization of Marketing & Sales processes and tools across regions and business units
  • Support integration of Marketing & Sales systems with enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, ServiceNow, finance, manufacturing systems)

Your background

  • Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, IT Consultant, or similar role in digital transformation or enterprise IT environments
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, demand management, and stakeholder engagement
  • Solid understanding of Marketing & Sales business processes (e.g., quoting, pricing, CRM, order management)
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including business, IT, and external vendors
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with ability to work in global and multicultural environments
  • Exposure to CPQ, Salesforce, or similar platforms is preferred but not mandatory
  • Fluency in English is required
