Position Responsibilities:

Transform business requirements to system capabilities in order to deliver financial solutions to business users across Amazon. Design, configure, and test solutions that support the end user experience in financial applications. Understand the financial application domain, including functionalities available across the industry, and configure and automate accounting functions for internal business processes. Identify opportunities to design and deploy technology solutions. Support current systems which enable strategic initiatives and operational efficiencies· Ensure application controls are designed and operating effectively to support our internal controls over financial reporting. Contribute relevant technical, functional, and process expertise, negotiate and drive alignment for all financial systems projects and initiatives. Mentor junior Analysts.

40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range: $170,000/year to $230,000/year.

Basic Qualifications


Position Requirements:

Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a Master’s Degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skills: (1) hands-on experience with at least one of the following applications: (a) General Ledger, (b) Hyperion Financial Management, (c) Essbase/Smart View; or (d) IBM Tririga Lease; (2) designing, implementing, and participating in large-scale enterprise accounting applications; (3) gathering, analyzing and synthesizing business requirements; and (4) experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and GAAP research tools. Domestic and/or international travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required.#0000
