Mattel Technology & Innovation Center (MTIC) in Hyderabad is looking for a dynamic IT Analyst – Network Services with 3-5 years of experience to join our global IT team. This role is critical in maintaining highly available, secure, and high-performance network infrastructure that supports Mattel’s global operations, iconic brands, and digital innovation initiatives.

The position includes 24x5 weekend on-call support (rotational) to ensure continuous network availability across time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise Switches, Routers, and associated hardware to maintain optimal performance and uptime.
  • Monitor network health and support enterprise network (LAN&WAN), Wireless, SDWAN network infrastructure using network monitoring tools.Respond to network alerts and perform initial troubleshooting and incident triage.
  • Manage and resolve network incidents and service requests within agreed SLA targets.
  • WiFi Services: Design, deploy, optimize, and support enterprise WiFi networks, including access points, wireless controllers, and coverage troubleshooting.
  • Circuit Management: Handle provisioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordination with telecom carriers for WAN Circuits (MPLS, Internet, SD-WAN, Point-to-Point, etc.).
  • F5 Load Balancing: Administer F5 BIG-IP devices for load balancing, traffic management, SSL offloading, and basic iRule/scripting support.
  • Cabling & Physical Layer: Manage structured Cabling (Copper – Cat6/Cat6A and Fiber), patch panels, and physical network infrastructure projects.
  • Network Data Analysis: Perform network performance monitoring, traffic analysis, capacity planning, and reporting using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, or equivalent.
  • Incident & Change Management: Respond to network incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, implement fixes, and support change management processes.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date network diagrams, asset records, runbooks, and ensure adherence to Mattel’s security policies and global standards.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with global IT teams on network-related projects, cloud connectivity, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • On-Call Support: Participate in 24x5 weekend on-call rotation for Level-2/3 network support (Saturday & Sunday coverage as per roster).

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in Network Operations/Support in a medium-to-large enterprise environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong hands-on experience with Switches and Routers (Cisco, Arista, or similar) – VLANs, VTP, HSRP, VSS, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), QoS.
    • Good exposure to WiFi technologies and wireless LAN controllers.
    • Basic knowledge in SDWAN topologies
    • Working knowledge of F5 BIG-IP (LTM/GTM) administration.
    • Experience in Network Data monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
    • Familiarity with Circuit management and ISP/vendor coordination.
    • Practical knowledge of Cabling standards and physical infrastructure deployment.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CCNA, CompTIA Network+, F5 Certified Administrator, CWNA (Wireless), or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and basic firewall concepts.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment with stakeholders across time zones.
  • Willingness to work weekend on-call (24x5 coverage) on a rotational basis.
  • Fluency in English (written & spoken).
