Reporting directly to an assigned manager or director, responsible for independently analyzing, defining, and creating technological solutions for multiple and/or critical software applications. Serves as the primary technology owner in a designated technology area. Level II of III in Analysts.

Examples of duties

  • Performs technical analysis of applicable data to produce products and solutions to resolve technology-related business problems
  • Assists with developing alternative workflow solutions by analyzing and testing new or existing procedures
  • Develops alternative workflow solutions
  • Analyzes and defines business processes associated with system enhancements
  • Provides advanced technical consulting and support services as needed
  • Works as part of a team to procure and implement major systems or upgrades to existing applications and systems
  • Makes technical decisions to best complete tasks and projects
  • Attends all meetings and trainings, as required
  • Performs special duties as assigned

Specialized Assignment (in addition to the duties above):

Enterprise Applications

  • Debugs programs as needed
  • Designs software programs for new systems
  • Develops front and back ends of websites
  • Manages and updates scripts for reporting purposes
  • Updates and creates user web pages
  • Executes custom software requests
  • Creates programs to move business objectives forward
  • Maintains responsibility for analyzing, coding, testing, and documenting programs

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Position involves prolonged sitting at a workstation, visual examination of documents, reaching, walking, twisting, bending, standing and occasional lifting/carrying

  • Work is primarily indoors in an air-conditioned environment
  • Regular travel between work sites as required

IRREGULAR HOURS

  • Work outside of the normal office hours (Monday – Friday) may be required

Qualifications

  • Vocational/technical diploma or certificate and three (3) years of job-related experience; OR four (4) years of job-related experience
  • Working knowledge of specific job-related technology

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Required

  • Technology certification in area of responsibility

Required within thirty (30) days of employment

  • Valid driver’s license

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Five (5) years working knowledge in all areas of technology software, hardware, data, methodologies, frameworks, and infrastructure
  • Azure/Exchange Assignment: Prior work experience in integration and management of IAM systems, including Active Directory, Azure AD
  • Azure/Exchange Assignment: Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, as well as knowledge of security protocols and standards
  • Enterprise Applications Assignment: Prior experience in Workday ERP support
