The AI Business Analyst supports Huatai International’s strategic AI initiatives by translating business needs into clear, practical requirements for AI‑enabled applications, agents, and intelligent workflows. Working closely with business users, technology teams, and risk stakeholders, this role helps shape, deliver, and govern enterprise‑grade AI solutions within a regulated financial services environment.

  • Perform business analysis for AI‑related initiatives, translating business requirements into functional and non‑functional specifications for AI‑enabled applications and solutions.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify AI use cases and define end‑to‑end business processes incorporating AI capabilities.
  • Drive feasibility studies for potential AI initiatives, including assessment of data readiness, operational impact, and risk considerations.
  • Support the shaping of AI platform and application roadmaps in alignment with business strategy and regulatory expectations.
  • Collaborate with AI developers, architects, and vendors to evaluate solution options and implementation approaches.
  • Work closely with business users, development teams, application support, and technology risk to ensure AI initiatives are delivered according to agreed scope and objectives.
  • Coordinate requirement sign‑off, testing, deployment, and post‑implementation review for AI solutions.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case preparation, validation of AI outputs, and coordination of issue resolution.
  • Adhere to and support regional project governance, data governance, and technology risk management processes, especially for AI usage.
  • Prepare and maintain high‑quality documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user guides related to AI applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in a Business Analyst role within a financial institution or technology‑driven organization.
  • Experience working on technology‑led transformation projects; exposure to AI, data, or automation initiatives is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting users across front, middle, or back‑office functions is an advantage.
  • Strong ability to translate business problems into clear, structured requirements suitable for AI or technology implementation.
  • Good understanding of financial services workflows and operating models; knowledge of regulatory or compliance considerations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI‑enabled solutions (e.g. AI copilots, intelligent workflows, analytics, decision support tools) from a business perspective.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and audience‑appropriate documentation for both business and technical teams.
  • Understanding of Agile or iterative delivery methodologies is preferred.
