Job Description

The primary mission of the IT Administrator it to oversee and manage administrative tasks within the IT Department. This role is responsible for all asset procurement, vendor and supplier management, basic user support (including password resets and other basic troubleshooting) and assigning IT Helpdesk tickets to the local IT team.

The position is also responsible for the day-to-day delivery of business activities.

This position will report directly to the Local IT Manager and will closely work with other team members.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Coordinateprocurement of IT hardware, software, and services, includingsourcing, creatingpurchaserequests, and following up on orders and deliveries

  • Manage relationshipswith IT vendors and suppliers, includingcontract management, renewals, and resolving service or delivery issues.

  • Maintaininventory of IT assets, update records for equipmentissuance, returns, and disposals

  • Perform basic troubleshooting for end-users, such as printer and connectivity issues, and provide first-leveltechnical support.

  • Handle user account management, includingpasswordresets and basic access control.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT procedures, asset registers, procurement records, and support requests

  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process of employeeswith respect to IT assets and access

  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance, servicing, or repairs of IT equipmentwithvendors as required

  • Help the IT team in planning and executingsmallprojects and upgrades.

  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and company standards in all IT-related administrative activities

  • Provideregular reports on procurementstatus, vendor performance, and asset inventory to IT management.
